My Journey
I have made it my life's work to make a difference in the lives of others. I initially took the traditional approach to this work by becoming an educator, where I acquired over a decade of expertise in designing and developing engaging learning experiences for a diverse audience. It was through these tasks that I realized the magnitude my efforts to create engaging and relatable content can have.
By happenstance, I discovered that providing these same change opportunities for adults is just as gratifying, and it sparked an excitement that I could not ignore. I enjoy encompassing what I have learned about adult learning theories into my practice and am inspired by the limitless creativity of designing meaningful learning experiences. In an effort to hone my skills to an audience targeting adults, I became an instructional designer.
I am a lifelong learner, a problem-solver, and a critical thinker continually looking for ways to hone and improve my unique skillset, and am searching for that perfect role that will feed my hunger to continually evolve and grow.
